Official contacts between Nanjing and Nagoya in Japan suspended

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman referring to the regard to the Mayor of Nagoya, Japan, to deny the Nanjing Massacre, supported for Nanjing to make the decision to suspend contacts with the Nagoya City. 
Kawamura Takashi, Mayor of Nagoya, Japan, in the morning of Feb. 20th, met the visiting delegation of Nanjing Municipal Government, and publicly denied the authenticity of "Nanjing Massacre" event. 
Hereby, Liu Zhiwei, the Nanjing delegation's lead, did not protest, just responded that, "Nanjing people love peace, we need to learn the history, not to perpetuate hatred." After the meeting the two sides exchanged gifts. 
Once returned back to China, Nanjing's delegation members are under furious critics as "shameless traitors", they are regretful not to protest right in the meeting with Japanese. 
Subsequently, back in Nanjing, they denounced the meeting and suspended the friendship with Nogoya.
